透過組織工作來團結住在市中心東端地區的華裔平民以:
一)維護唐人街和爭取華裔平民的權益
二)支持各族裔平民爭取公義
Through organizing, to unite low-income Chinese people of the Downtown Eastside to:
- Defend Chinatown and fight for the rights and interests of low-income Chinese people
- Support low-income people of all ethnicities to fight for justice
What about housing for the Chinese mental illness people, like Stanley Hotel idea where a hotel or SRO have the proper help for drugs and especially mental health workers.

That’s a good point – we need affordable housing for people with mental health concerns and for low-income people in general!

it might be interesting to find out what contributions the developers have made to municipal politicians. we should look at what is happening in las angeles.

Thank you for sharing that – we are quite clearly seeing the government and developers colluding together, putting profit before people, evidenced by the gentrification of working-class neighbourhoods across the City. We need to continue to find ways to build people power so community development puts people and the community first. -km
